New implant aims to make shoulder surgery more durable
NCT ID NCT05997381
Summary
This study is testing whether adding a special implant called BioBrace during shoulder surgery leads to better healing than standard surgery alone. It will involve about 268 adults with a specific type of shoulder tendon tear who have not improved with other treatments. Researchers will compare the two surgical methods by checking patients' shoulder strength, pain, and MRI scans over a year to see which one works better.
