First seen Mar 18, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This study is testing special screws that dissolve over time, used in foot and ankle surgeries like fixing fractures or correcting deformities. About 125 adults will be followed for 4 years to see how well their bones heal and if there are any problems. The goal is to see if these screws are a safe and effective alternative to metal ones.
