NCT ID NCT07473947

Not yet recruiting Disease control Sponsor: Inion Oy Source: ClinicalTrials.gov ↗

Summary

This study follows 80 children and teenagers in Finland for four years after they receive special dissolving screws to fix fractures in their ankle, knee, or elbow. The main goal is to see how well the bone heals and to check for any safety problems or need for additional surgeries related to the screws. The screws are designed to hold the bone in place while it heals and then gradually dissolve in the body over several years.
