New dissolving screws aim to heal broken bones without metal

Summary
This study is testing special screws that dissolve in the body over time. It will follow 125 adults with foot or ankle fractures or deformities for 4 years after surgery. The main goals are to see if bones heal properly with these screws and to check for any safety issues or need for additional surgeries.
