Summary
This study tests a structured program of diet, lifestyle changes, and medication management to reduce acid reflux symptoms in people who had POEM surgery for achalasia cardia. Many patients develop GERD after POEM and need long-term acid-reducing drugs. The program aims to improve quality of life and help patients reduce or stop these medications. The trial includes 166 adults and compares the structured program to standard care over 12 months.
