Summary
This study aims to understand why bile duct dilation occurs and why it often leads to serious complications, including a high risk of cancer. Researchers will collect tissue samples from 400 people with the condition and from healthy donors. By analyzing these samples, they hope to learn how bacteria and the body's own cells interact in this disease to find better ways to diagnose and treat it in the future.
