New drug cocktail tested for Tough-to-Treat bile duct cancer

NCT ID NCT05052099

Summary

This study tested a combination of three drugs (a chemotherapy, an immunotherapy, and a blood vessel blocker) for people with advanced bile duct cancer whose disease progressed after one prior treatment. The goal was to see if this combination could shrink tumors and control the disease better than existing options, while monitoring side effects. All 20 participants received the drug combination until their cancer worsened or they experienced unacceptable side effects.
