Simple bile test could prevent dangerous infections after common procedure

Summary
This study aims to see if a simple test on bile can help doctors decide the best time to replace a plastic tube (stent) placed in the bile duct. It will compare replacing the stent at 1 month versus 3 months in patients whose bile test shows germs. The goal is to see if this personalized timing reduces the risk of a serious infection called cholangitis.
