Could a simple diet change protect vulnerable Kids' lungs?

NCT ID NCT07303868

Summary

This study is testing whether certain blended foods can bind to and reduce bile acids in the stomachs of children who are fed through a tube. High bile acids may increase the risk of lung damage if stomach contents are accidentally inhaled (aspiration). Researchers will compare two different blended diets and a special formula over several weeks to see which best lowers bile acid levels.
