First seen Mar 02, 2026 · Last updated Apr 26, 2026 · Updated 7 times
Summary
This early-phase study tests whether placing bicalutamide implants directly into the prostate can replace standard hormone therapy (ADT) in men with localized prostate cancer who also receive radiation. About 20 participants will be enrolled. The goal is to see if this targeted approach is safe and feasible, potentially reducing side effects from whole-body hormone treatment.
