Summary
This study tested the safety of an experimental drug called BI 770371 in 28 adults with compensated cirrhosis (liver scarring) due to MASH, a fatty liver disease. Participants received either the drug or a placebo as an IV infusion every 3 weeks for 12 weeks. The main goal was to see how well the drug was tolerated and to monitor any side effects. The study is now complete.
