First human test for rare disease drug begins

Summary
This is an early-stage study to check the safety and how the body processes a new oral medicine called BI 3000202. It involves about 16 adults with specific rare genetic conditions where the immune system is overactive. Participants will take the medicine for about 9 months while doctors monitor for side effects and how the drug behaves in their bodies.
