First seen May 26, 2026 · Last updated Jun 17, 2026 · Updated 8 times
Summary
This early-phase study tested a new medicine called BI 1821736 in 10 adults with advanced solid tumors that had not responded to other treatments. BI 1821736 is a special virus designed to kill cancer cells and help the immune system fight cancer. Participants received the drug by infusion every 3 weeks for up to 3 months, and doctors monitored safety and tumor response. The study was terminated early, so results are limited.
