First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated Jun 15, 2026 · Updated 19 times

Summary

This study tests whether adding blood flow restriction (BFR) therapy to standard physical therapy helps people recover faster after anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) repair surgery. About 40 adults aged 18 to 45 who have had ACL surgery will be assigned to either standard rehab alone or standard rehab plus BFR. Researchers will measure pain, muscle strength, and joint movement to see if BFR improves recovery.
