New device aims for more accurate heat monitoring in gynecologic cancer treatment
NCT ID NCT07235540
Summary
This study is testing whether a new device called a 'pelotte' provides more accurate vaginal temperature measurements during hyperthermia cancer treatments compared to the standard probe. The research involves 27 women with gynecologic cancer who are receiving radiation and heat therapy. Participants will try both devices during their treatments and complete comfort questionnaires to help researchers understand which method works better.
