Last-Minute ultrasound could prevent unnecessary C-Sections

NCT ID NCT07433751

Summary

This study aims to see if performing an ultrasound within 24 hours before delivery gives a more accurate estimate of a baby's size than earlier scans. It will involve about 285 pregnant people where a large baby is suspected. The goal is to improve decisions about whether to induce labor or perform a C-section, potentially avoiding these procedures when they aren't truly needed.
