Doctors seek better way to place critical surgery tube
NCT ID NCT07191002
Summary
This study aims to find the best way to place a special double-lumen breathing tube used during chest surgery. Researchers will test six existing formulas on 30 patients to see how accurately they predict the correct tube depth. The goal is to improve placement accuracy, which could reduce risks like airway injury and low oxygen levels during surgery.
