New blood test could replace risky procedure for curable high blood pressure
NCT ID NCT07297745
Summary
This study aims to improve how doctors diagnose a specific, curable cause of high blood pressure called primary aldosteronism. Researchers will test if a new blood test, combined with a standard CT scan, can work as well as a more invasive and complex current procedure. If successful, this could help more patients worldwide get a faster, simpler diagnosis and access to potentially curative surgery.
