Race to save kids: new tech aims to spot hidden TB
NCT ID NCT07248423
Summary
This study aims to find better and faster ways to diagnose tuberculosis (TB) in children. It will test new tools, including computer analysis of chest X-rays and easier-to-collect samples, in nearly 8,000 children across four countries. The goal is to help doctors spot TB sooner, especially in young children where current tests are difficult and often miss the disease.
