New scan aims to catch hidden prostate cancer earlier
NCT ID NCT06923657
Summary
This study is testing a new, more precise scanning method to find prostate cancer in men who have had a negative biopsy but still have rising PSA levels. Researchers will compare a new PSMA PET/MRI scan-guided biopsy against the standard biopsy method. The goal is to see if the new approach can find more cancers earlier and reduce the number of missed diagnoses.
