New ultrasound breakthrough could spot cancer in lymph nodes earlier

NCT ID NCT07155954

Summary

This study is testing a new, more detailed ultrasound technology to help doctors better tell if a swollen lymph node is cancerous or benign. It will involve 779 adults with suspicious lymph nodes who are already scheduled for a biopsy or surgery. The goal is to see if this advanced imaging can improve diagnosis by showing tiny blood vessel patterns that current ultrasounds miss.
