New heart scan aims to replace risky tests for arrhythmias
NCT ID NCT05772182
Summary
This study tested a new, non-invasive imaging system (ECGI) designed to better locate the source of heart rhythm problems. It involved 362 patients already scheduled for a standard heart procedure, comparing the new scan's accuracy to the current invasive 'gold standard' method. The goal was to see if this tool could improve diagnosis and potentially guide treatment without the need for more invasive tests.
