New test could help tune Kids' hearing implants more accurately

NCT ID NCT07417956

Summary

This study aims to test a new, objective method for programming cochlear implants in young children (aged 0-7 years). The goal is to find a more reliable way to set the comfortable volume levels on the hearing device, which can be hard to determine in young kids. Researchers hope this will lead to better hearing and faster speech development for children with hearing loss.
