Cartoons could help catch Kids' vision loss sooner

NCT ID NCT02157025

Summary

This study is testing a new, more engaging way to check children's peripheral vision. It replaces a standard, boring light with a small screen showing cartoon videos and uses character voices to give instructions. The goal is to help young children (ages 5-8) pay better attention during the test, which should make the results more reliable. Better test results would help doctors diagnose and manage eye diseases like glaucoma earlier.
