New test could spot hidden leukemia mutations sooner
NCT ID NCT07158294
Summary
This study aims to see if a new, highly sensitive blood test (called digital PCR) is as good as the current standard test (NGS) at finding specific mutations that make chronic myeloid leukemia (CML) resistant to certain drugs. It will involve 150 adult CML patients whose current medication is not working well. The goal is to improve detection of these mutations to help guide future treatment decisions, but the test results will not directly change a patient's current therapy in this study.
