New approach aims to help frail elderly tolerate cancer treatment better

NCT ID NCT07476105

Summary

This study is testing whether adding a geriatric support plan to standard cancer treatment improves life quality for older, frail patients with aggressive lymphoma. It will compare two groups: one receiving standard cancer care and another receiving cancer care plus extra support for nutrition, physical function, and social needs. The goal is to see if this combined approach helps patients feel better and complete their treatment more successfully.
