New clinic system aims to tame silent killer in HIV patients
NCT ID NCT05002322
Summary
This project tested a new system to help clinics in Mozambique better screen for and manage high blood pressure in people living with HIV. The goal was to use existing HIV care services to catch and control high blood pressure more effectively, as the two conditions often occur together. Researchers trained local health supervisors to use simple tools to find and fix gaps in the clinic's blood pressure care process.
