New Heart-Zapping strategy aims to stop AFib for good
NCT ID NCT07281898
Summary
This study is testing a new approach during a heart procedure called catheter ablation to better treat a common irregular heartbeat (paroxysmal atrial fibrillation). Researchers want to see if using a special electrical stimulation test to guide where to apply the ablation can prevent the irregular heartbeat from coming back. The study will involve 240 adults who are scheduled for their first ablation procedure.
