Can a simple addition to baby formula fight future obesity?
NCT ID NCT06091917
Summary
This study is testing whether adding a nutrient called betaine to infant formula is safe and might help prevent childhood obesity. Researchers are comparing formula with and without betaine in 50 formula-fed babies to see if it changes their growth patterns and gut bacteria. The goal is to see if early nutrition can set a healthier growth path and lower obesity risk later in life.
