Summary

This study is testing whether giving a quick-acting beta-blocker (landiolol) early during a heart attack can reduce the amount of heart muscle that dies. Researchers will compare this to standard oral beta-blocker treatment in 100 adults with a severe type of heart attack called STEMI. The goal is to see if the fast-acting drug leads to better heart function and less scarring.
