Can a supplement boost your workout results?
NCT ID NCT07404540
Summary
This study tested whether taking a dietary supplement called beta-alanine could improve exercise performance in young adults who don't regularly work out. Forty-three untrained participants were randomly assigned to receive either beta-alanine or a placebo while completing a six-week exercise program. Researchers measured changes in strength, endurance, and blood markers to see if the supplement made a difference.
