This study aimed to find the safest time to deliver babies of women with uncontrolled gestational diabetes. Researchers planned to compare delivering between 37 and 39 weeks to see which timing led to the fewest health problems for newborns. The study was stopped early, but it included over 300 women and tracked serious newborn issues like breathing problems, infections, and NICU stays.
