Race against time: study seeks perfect window to save lives from lung clots

Summary
This study aims to determine the best timing for treating dangerous blood clots in the lungs (pulmonary embolism) to improve survival. Researchers will observe 500 patients with serious lung clots to see how treatment timing affects survival and complication rates. The goal is to establish clear treatment windows similar to those used for heart attacks and strokes.
