Scientists race to find perfect running cue for smoother stride
NCT ID NCT06988709
Summary
This study aims to find the easiest and most effective way to teach runners to reduce the time their foot spends on the ground with each step. Researchers will test three different coaching methods—verbal cues, a metronome beat, and real-time visual feedback—on 30 healthy, active runners. The goal is to provide clear guidance to coaches and physical therapists on the best technique to help runners improve their form and potentially lower injury risk.
