Surgery study aims to find less painful way to treat hemorrhoids
NCT ID NCT07196865
Summary
This study compares three different ways surgeons close the wound after removing hemorrhoids: leaving it open, stitching it completely closed, or stitching only half closed. Researchers want to see which method helps patients heal faster with less pain and fewer complications. The trial will follow 378 patients for one year to track their recovery and check if hemorrhoids return.
