Summary

This study tests three common methods for moving gum tissue away from teeth during crown impressions: a retraction cord, a special paste, and a cord with a hemostatic gel. Thirty-nine adults needing a single front tooth crown will try one method and rate their pain. The goal is to see which method gives the best fit and causes the least bleeding.
