Can a berry pill sharpen your eyesight?
NCT ID NCT07382882
Summary
This study tested whether a daily dietary supplement made from extracts of chokeberry, honeysuckle berry, and bilberry could improve vision in adults with presbyopia, the age-related difficulty with reading up close. In a small, carefully designed trial, 27 participants took either the berry supplement or a placebo pill for six weeks each. Researchers measured changes in vision sharpness, eye structure, and certain blood markers to see if the supplement made a difference.
