New app and videos aim to get kids brushing, fighting plaque before it starts
NCT ID NCT05321719
Summary
This study tested a program called BeReady2Smile, which uses videos and a mobile app to teach parents better skills for brushing their young children's teeth and preventing plaque buildup. Researchers compared the program to usual care methods with 228 parents of children aged 0-6 years. The goal was to see if the multimedia tools could improve parents' knowledge, confidence, and habits, leading to less plaque on children's teeth.
