First seen May 16, 2026 ยท Last updated May 16, 2026

Summary

This study tested whether a mouthrinse with benzydamine hydrochloride can reduce plaque buildup and gum inflammation when people stop brushing for three days. Fifty healthy women with no gum disease took part. Results will show if the active mouthrinse works better than a placebo rinse during a short break from oral hygiene.
