First seen Jan 08, 2026 · Last updated Jun 19, 2026 · Updated 27 times

Summary

This study compares two non-drug treatments—light therapy (photobiomodulation) and electrical stimulation—to see which better helps people with Bell's palsy regain facial movement. About 34 adults with moderate to severe facial weakness will receive one of the treatments along with standard facial exercises. The goal is to find the most effective way to reduce disability and improve recovery.
