Summary
This study is testing whether the drug belimumab can prevent serious organ damage in people with lupus (SLE). Researchers will compare patients taking belimumab to those on standard treatments, using medical records and new follow-ups. About 684 adults with active lupus will be included, and the study will track major flares and long-term damage over time.
