Summary
This study looked at whether giving one dose of belatacept to kidney transplant patients whose new kidneys are slow to start working (delayed graft function) can help them recover kidney function faster. The study included 67 adults who received a kidney transplant and had delayed graft function. Researchers measured how long it took for kidneys to recover and tracked patient survival, graft survival, rejection, and infections like BK virus, Epstein-Barr virus, and cytomegalovirus.
