New therapy aims to keep young latinos in mental health care after psychosis
NCT ID NCT05310838
Summary
This study is testing whether a 12-session therapy called Behavioral Activation helps young Latino adults who have experienced their first psychotic episode stay more engaged with their mental health services. It compares this therapy to the usual community care over six months, involving both the patients and their families. The goal is to see if this approach leads to better treatment participation, improved quality of life, and reduced symptoms.
