Can a beetroot juice boost fix your Brain's blood flow?
NCT ID NCT07329647
Summary
This small pilot study is testing whether drinking beetroot juice, which is high in natural nitrates, can improve brain function in people with early vascular cognitive decline. Researchers want to see if the nitrates in the juice can improve blood flow to the brain during thinking tasks and help with memory. The study will involve 25 participants who will drink the juice or a placebo for 14 days while their brain activity and memory are measured.
