Summary
This study aims to understand whether beef or plant-based soy protein is better for building and maintaining muscle in older adults who may be experiencing frailty. Researchers will compare how 60 participants aged 65-95 process these different protein sources using a new measurement technique. The goal is to gather knowledge that could inform future dietary recommendations for aging populations.
