New combo therapy aims to improve survival in advanced nose cancer
NCT ID NCT07459296
First seen Mar 16, 2026 · Last updated May 06, 2026 · Updated 7 times
Summary
This phase 3 trial tests whether a new drug (Becotatug vedotin) plus immunotherapy (sintilimab) and standard chemoradiation works better than current treatment for high-risk nasopharyngeal carcinoma. About 266 adults with advanced, non-spread cancer will be randomly assigned to either the new combo or standard chemo plus radiation. The main goal is to see if the new approach improves 3-year survival without the cancer returning.
