New training aims to help kids with cochlear implants hear in crowded rooms

Summary
This study tests a 3-month at-home listening training program called BEARS for children aged 8-16 who have two cochlear implants. The goal is to see if it helps them understand speech in noisy environments, reduces listening effort, and improves quality of life. Participants will be randomly assigned to receive the training plus usual care or usual care alone, and will be followed for 12 months.
