Summary

This study looks at whether eating canned, pre-cooked beans can improve the balance of healthy bacteria in the gut and lower the effects of obesity on colorectal cancer risk. It involves up to 80 adults who are overweight or obese and have had colorectal cancer or precancerous polyps. Researchers will measure changes in stool and blood markers over 8 weeks.
