First seen Jan 10, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This early-stage trial tests a new treatment made from a patient's own immune cells, modified to target and destroy faulty cells that cause lupus. It is for 20 people aged 16-70 whose lupus has not improved with at least two standard treatments. The goal is to see if it is safe and can put lupus into remission without needing lifelong medication.
