NCT ID NCT04658680
Summary
This large study in Guinea-Bissau is testing whether making the BCG vaccine available every day at health clinics, so babies can get it at their first visit, can reduce early infant deaths. It will involve over 22,800 newborns. The goal is to see if this simple change in practice can lower deaths from non-accidental causes by 25% in the first six weeks of life.
